Get Your Geek On! IS LIVE!!!
Please forgive the minor flaws here and there, and don't count how many times we say "um"! This is our first go, and for a first go, I think it ain't half bad. Have a listen, and stay tuned, the plan is to have subsequent podcasts every Friday for your long workouts. This podcast (as well as the ones to come) will be available for subscription in iTunes as well as on Podcast Alley (thanks for the reminder, William!), probably before the end of the weekend, so check back and sign up!
We want to spread the news as well, so just like when we moved to a new domain we're asking that you help us get the word out! Please refer your cyber friends to have a listen and leave a comment below letting us know that you sent them! The person with the most referrals will get this awesome TTW "Race Day" mousepad for free! Look down every morning and read the TTW Race Day Quote: "Race Day: To give up the day-to-day luxuries of the masses for the luxury of a day the masses will never have." Thanks for spreading the word! Next Friday we'll announce the winner. All right, let's get it started, click the Swim Bike Run icon above (many thanks to Mr. Wil!!!) to Get Your Geek On!

It's downloaded and will be cued into the ZEN before my long run tonight. Looking forward to the listen.
Hopefully you have a regular RSS/enclosure feed (feedburner?) so us non-Apple/ I tunes people can subscribe.
Make sure you list it, when you have a permenant feed, to Podcast Alley That will give you lots of traffic.
Sweet. Downloading has started....
Soooo excited for this! :) Thanks, Wil! Will keep me company on my long ride....in an airplane to DENVER tonight to visit friends! :)

Just finished the podcast- nice work.
Just finished listening to the podcast. Great job! Started off a little wierd but things took off pretty well after all the introductions. I loved your morning workout routine bit and the coaches corner. The Kahuna's New Year's Day tri was awesome! Great job, can't wait for next week's!? Is this weekly or monthly?

the bloopers part is hilarious.

Hello, my name is Bolder, I've never been to your site before, but I saw on Stronger's blog that you were doing a podcast, so I thought I'd drop by. Hopefully, this helps Carrie's numbers.
Anyone else that reads this, of course, remember 'Carrie sent you'...
Congrats! You and Kahuna did a great job. The bloopers at the end were very entertaining. I’m already looking forward to your next podcast.

Bravo! Looking forward to future shows... Kind of slowed down my productivity at work since I'm listening to it here, but Friday's are supposed to be blow-off days anyway, right?

I have been trying to listen to your podcast this afternoon but my kids keep chatting. I will have to save it for my next run. From what I have heard so far, it is awesome! I cannot wait to hear more.
Will, this is AWESOME! :) You guys are amazing. I'm sooooo impressed!
Very cool guys! Listened while I was making dinner. I'll enjoy these with workouts in the future.
The Beansprout sent me over to take a peek, listen and I think she really wants the prize, to be honest!
Loping LouBob
Very impressive, Wil.
Good job. I am listening to this right now.
Nice job! Thanks for doing this-it's awesome!
Ooo! Another contest! :) Beansprout gave me the heads up and sent me over here.
I still don't know what you do with a podcast except listen to it online.
Shelly said "I like the pain." :D
Still listening to it while I work here this morning. Love it, Wil!
Very Kewl. I like the podcast!
Thanks for taking the time to do this. Here is a Question for the Coaches segment. I understand the importance and benefit of tapering for the Big event. What seems to be less published is how to train AFTER the event, especially if you have another event in a given period of time.
Example: Disney Marathon Jan 8, Mercedes Marathon Feb 12, What should the training look like in between?
Thanks,
Curtai
sorry but I am not really that familer with Podcasting. How do I a) download it and b) set up so that they auto download.
Thanks.
Can't wait to be able to download the podcast on iTunes. What will it be called?
Sounds great so far!
Thanks for all of the awesome support guys!!
TBC: OK, to download from here, all you have to do is click the cover art, and it should begin playing in a new window. (and this is to Jon, too) To download it, just save it in your media player as it's playing. To subscribe to the RSS feed, just click on the feed button in the sidebar here ;)
Lisa: it's been submitted and accepted by the directories, iTunes takes about 24 hours to process things, so hopefully it will be available early Sunday morning (though I don't know if the weekends count toward the 24 hours, I would think so). It's called "Get Your Geek On! with the Tri-Geek Kahuna and Iron Wil"
Great work! Really enjoyed listening to this. BTW, you've got a great voice for podcasting!
Not half bad? Not half bad!? Are you kidding!? It's awesome! You guys ROCK! The training insight, the 3am tri (that's insane), the talk about weight...and of course the BLOOPERS! All of it, really, really amazing. I'm subscribed! What a great way to get through my 3+ hour runs coming up! Thank you so much!
I'm a lurker, but I mentioned the podcast in the Carnival of Health and Fitness at Slim Spirited.
It's downloading now and I am excited just looking at the raving comments. I got refered to this by Chris' post at http://www.chivalry.net and the cheap bugger asked me to mention his name so he can get his hands on the mouse pad. :)
Just gotta come back and say I am loving it. Great broadcast - I may have found the reason to finally get a iPod nano. :)
Chris from Chivelry.net sent me and I look forward to the second one on my run tomorrow! Thanks guys.
