Tune In Next Week...

...for the very first airing of "Get Your Geek On!" with The Tri-Geek Kahuna and me!

We've put together a weekly podcast (which will develop into a live weekly internet radio show) for all those out there who know what it means to sacrifice personal comfort for something greater.

'Get Your Geek On' on the go! You'll be able to download the podcasts to your MP3 players for your listening pleasure on the run, at work, or in the car, how cool is that!?

How about a 30-60 second weekly segment from Commodore doing his drill sargeant routine.

"Private! You think you're gonna cover One-hundred and forty point six miles with that attitude... I need you dig down deep and give me eight minute miles...

"Come on son, this ain't Grenada we're training for... you think you're tired now ... you don't know tired... When I say Cadence you will give me one-hundred and five ARRR PEEE EHMMMM's ..."

Something like that would be kinda neat to have stuck in your head when you're out on a workout.

how about "the 4AM minute - motiviational messages from the pricess of the predawn"?
you could talk about how it is that you manage to convince yourself to begin your workouts at such a ridiculous-o'clock hour.
cause i know i haven't figured that out yet!

I love it! I like the music and the high itensity. Ever since Kahuna mention the Eminem song, I have been listening to it to start my runs. Anything motivational will help. Coaching tips would also be great. Like, how do I do my double workout days and still have energy for my kids? or work? Nutrition tips will be good too. You could give examples of food that you eat before those 4 a.m. workouts.

Do we get podcasts from your sites or will we download them from something like itunes?

Very cool. I haven't had a reason to bother with podcasts of any kind... until now!

I'd like nutrition advice, swimming tips, transition help, etc. Really anything is good, but nutrition tops my list.

This is really exciting, by the way!
